Having my work featured in my first print publication was not on my bingo card for this year — But GOD!!

I can’t ever thank @thehoneybexperience enough for being a true visionary and bringing this group and project to life, and for trusting my eye with the visuals. To Whitney with @theivyontheplains for opening the doors to her venue and letting it be the back drop, and to every other professional I collaborated with, it was an honor!!

And huge thanks to @blackbride1998 - @marychatman1 for seeing the vision, and allowing it to come to life in the pages their latest magazine edition.

This was such a pinch me moment, that I will always be sooooo grateful and thankful for🤍

I had a call this week with a potential bride. Her fiance is in the military, and they haven’t been able to set a date, with deployment schedules still up in the air.

But as we talked about him, about them, I wasn’t thinking about any of that. I was just listening to a love story.

I’ve heard so many of these now, and it never gets old. But every single one is different.

Different timelines, different circumstances, different ways people found each other and decided to stay. None of that matters as much as the one thing they all have in common:

Two people choosing each other, for the along haul, no matter what the day to day looks like.

Being loved by someone, really loved, for the long run, is a blessing. And getting to witness it, let alone capture it, is a privilege I don’t take lightly.

That’s why we’re here, Not just for the wedding day. For the whole story that led to it.
