I am so severely sore and bruised from last night, and had trouble finding the will to get out of bed for work today. Wouldn’t change it for a thing. Thank you to everyone who came to throw yourselves into the floor and then back up but then back down again with me at @fusiondancecollective 100TH CLASS!!!!! Had the honor of choreographing again for the @fusiondancecollective SZN2 showcase, “Ember”. I’ve wanted to choreograph to Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love” for SO long, and it was such an honor to create a piece that blended so many styles and foundations, as well as elevated feelings of sensuality and sass. Thank you to my incredible dancers for absolutely killing it with precision and energy, and thank you to @oil.lantern.studios for the beautiful color-grading and videography as well as the cover art!!

Finally got into class with @jessenia_jlv and couldn’t be more grateful for the push that was this class! It’s been a hell of a journey in these pumps, but I’m proud of the progress I’ve made thus far (tho I gotta come up w a freestyle in heels at some point that isn’t a backbend or a split 😭). Thank you Jessenia for this moment, I had so much fun learning this combo.

This is “Won’t,” choreographed by myself for @fusiondancecollective Season 1. Very much so outside my comfort zone doing a slower emo contemporary piece, but I had the greatest cast I could possibly ask for to help and inspire me through the process. I couldn’t have done it without the lovely dancers who chose to be a part of my piece and a hefty serving of sour patch watermelons. I miss these rehearsals, no matter how chaotic my choreographic process was, and I’m #sorrynotsorry for the warmup.
