Such a fun inventive #ringflash shoot with my friend Gennaro Boccia @gennaroboccia90 who laughed and laughed and threw hilarious cheeky poses.

Such a fun playful shoot with Louis @Feline1010 who went way beyond the call of duty by working on the hottest day of the year. He’d take quick breaks for cold showers and then back into my sweltering studio under the glare of my huge #ringflash to hold tough dynamic poses! My second portrait of wonderful Connecticut-based friend Scott Oshana.

Scott broke off a holiday in Sitges to visit London briefly back in April for two consecutive photoshoots! It didn’t leave him much time for sightseeing after that!

We’d been chatting on social media for several years, trying to decide which style to use for his portrait. In the end we scheduled a #technicolour shoot one day and this #harshbeautiful shoot the next.

I shared the delicious technicolour “a bear likes honey” portrait back in June - scroll right for a reminder of that one, and for a casual selfie we took on the day!

Another great shoot with @alejandro.modelephoto on a recent visit to London. This time the lighting was pared down to a large #ringflash attached to the camera lens, rather than the reams of coloured lighting tech I used before. Alex always manages to deliver a blend of poses that are quietly reflective and wonderfully smiley!

Wonderfully calm shoot with easygoing @petricamazare who was a big hit when he posed for my wild technicolour series almost exactly 5 years ago today. This was a pared back shoot with just a circular flash attached to my camera lens.

A very different shot of handsome @that.thong.guy who was last seen posing in a blaze of iridescent colours. This time round the lighting was stripped back to just one very large circular flash attached to my camera - much more flexible for me, so I could keep up with all of his brilliant playful poses which came thick and fast! Major thanks for his unstoppable energy and great sense of fun!!

Finally, amazing Floriane Perichon whose beautiful hoop sequence started out intensely slowly with tightly controlled slow motion choreography, and transformed into a series of awesomely delirious spins. Photographed here for #IntoTheWings just seconds after her performance.
