Tori + James, what a day.

The kind of hot, blue-sky summer day they’d hoped for, and it delivered from start to finish.

I spent the morning with them both as they got ready apart. James was with his groomsmen, kept calm and well entertained, and that whisky glass gift he opened barely left his hand once the reception rolled around. Tori slipped into her dress and her custom Converse, comfort sorted for the long day ahead.

Then the first look in the garden with her dad and bridesmaids. Not many dry eyes for that one.

The service was at their family church in Spinkhill, before we headed down into the village for a few photos and a pint poured for one another in the pub where they first met. Where the whole story started.

Back to Thornbridge Hall for the reception, and what a setting for an afternoon of sunshine. Laughter everywhere. Bubbles flowing, garden games, canapés doing the rounds, and a proper debate over white socks with shoes and a suit. Tables named after their favourite drinks, which felt exactly right.

Everyone had a brilliant time, Tom and I included. Always good to be working alongside Tom from Hitched Productions again too.

Lovely warm weather, drinks on the lawn, beautiful views... we're at Thornbridge alriggght!!!!

Tori & James had a beautiful day last week, marrying in church, covered in confetti, a couple hours chilling with drinks in the sun, oh look more confetti, a campervan journey, a handful of giggles and lots of camcorder 😂

Compliments to the guest list too, met some fab folk and even hung round to chat and enjoy the evening with @tomhodgson

Always a good day out for the Sheff Half, this time I did it for an amazing cause. Still time to donate!
Happy I managed to keep hold of the shield and mask, Dave smashed his first half marathon as well!

Not usually one to post but if anything’s going to end a 10 year instagram drought it’s this.

Took a break from running and being daft in the gym and tried lifting heavy shit for a while. Linked up with the best powerlifting coach in Yorkshire and North East @thesleepypowerlifter and smashed the shit out of some barbell for about 18 months to produce the fine art you see above.

S: 167.5 - 12.5kg comp PB
B: 130 - 5kg comp PB
D: 215 - matched comp PB
Total: 512.5kg at 73.1 BW

Learnt so much from this sport and the people in it and have so much love for it but it’s time to get my running legs back. Massive thanks to Alex and the Hybrid team❤️
