🇺🇸 A huge shoutout to @marvetbritto , and @djspinderella Spinderella from Salt-N-Pepa for making this 250th Anniversary/Independence Day unforgettable. I’ve always watched the @macys fireworks on TV with NBC, but this year was something special! Thanks to Spinderella I got to experience the fireworks from on & behind the stage—talk about a front-row seat to the magic! 🌟

Even though I was supposed to be on my way to São Paulo, Brazil, and missed my flight by just three minutes due to weather, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate. It was a spectacular night filled with music, laughter, old friends and those breathtaking fireworks that lit up the New York City EastRiver. @Brooklynbridge.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! This was truly a night to remember. ❤️✨ #FourthOfJuly #MacyFireworks #NYC #Grateful #UnforgettableMoment taken in The Rooftop at Pier 17 by @jameshester7

Artemis II Is a GO and just launched🌙🚀 Today marks a monumental moment in history as my dear friend, Victor Glover, Jr. @astrovicglover embarks on an incredible journey to the Moon! 🌌✨

For the first time in 53 years, we return to the Moon, and Victor will be making history as the **first African-American pilot** to guide this mission. Approximately 40-41 minutes, they’ll be out of communication with the world while circling the moon.

Let’s come together in prayer for Victor, his wife #DionnaOdomGlover, four beautiful daughters, and all the brave astronauts on this journey. 🙏🏼 May they have a safe and healthy journey in space, and a safe return. 🌍🙏🙏🙏 #MoonMission #VictorGlover #HistoryInTheMaking PrayersForTheJourney @nasa @jessicasibley @time taken in Martha's Vineyard by @jameshester7

I met the amazing @mayejamesholler at just 17, a dreamer chasing my passion instead of studying for my final exams. 🎶 From my first encounter with Frankie Crocker, Maye became my guiding light. She was the heartbeat of the music industry—an icon who opened doors, introduced me to artists and record executives, and always had time to listen. If you wanted Frankie to play your record, you had to go through Maye. She was his musical director at @wbls1075nyc

🌟 Her wisdom and kindness shaped my journey, and I’ll forever cherish the memories we made, especially that unforgettable night at KEM’s 20th anniversary @musicbykem at the @thearethalive. Thanks to my friend @marvetbritto and @musicbykem welcoming, I was able to repay Maye for all she did for me with backstage passes and a reunion that celebrated our 35+ year friendship. The laughter, the stories, and the magic of that evening are treasures I hold close.

Maye was also an incredible mother to @crystaleyesme and a trailblazer who helped get rap music played on national radio. Her impact on the industry and on my life is immeasurable.

💖 Thank you, Maye, for everything. Your legacy lives on in every note and every star. Rest peacefully, knowing you’re now the musical director for all the legends above. 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏God Bless my dear Maye❤️✨ taken in Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre by @jameshester7
