πŸ“š PASSING IT FORWARD: WHERE LESSONS BECOME LEGACY Every journey has a story. Mine is one of humble beginnings, dreams, challenges, resilience and valuable life lessons. Growing up in Thulamahashe, I never imagined that my experiences would one day become a book. Through Passing It Forward, I share my journey with the hope of inspiring others, particularly young people, to believe in their dreams, overcome challenges and remember the importance of giving back. I'd love for you to be part of this journey. πŸ“– Get your copy here: https://www.jamesmayingafoundation.org.za/book Thank you to everyone who has already supported me. Your encouragement means a lot. The greatest legacy is what we pass on to others.❀️ #PassingItForward #WhereLessonsBecomeLegacy #Leadership #Mentorship #MakeADifference by @jamesmayinga
Please tune in and join the conversation. β€οΈπŸ™πŸ½ Education opens doors. Dreams give us a reason to walk through them.β€οΈπŸ™πŸ½ As a proud Vaal University of Technology (VUT) Alumnus, having graduated with a National Diploma in Sports Management in 2002, I am honoured to be joining VUT FM 96.9 for a special interview today. VUT believed in my potential and awarded me a sports bursary covering my tuition and accommodation. That opportunity did more than support my education; it helped me rediscover my direction, pursue my dreams and build a foundation for the journey ahead. From professional football to sports broadcasting, Neuro-Life Coaching, community development and now authorship, I remain grateful for the role education has played in shaping my life. We will also reflect on my book, Passing It Forward – Where Lessons Become Legacy, and how our experiences can inspire others to keep believing in their dreams. Education gave me a foundation. VUT gave me an opportunity. The dream required me to keep going. πŸ“» VUT FM 96.9 πŸ“… Today | 29 October 2026 ⏰ 16:10 May the opportunities we receive become opportunities for those who come after us. Let's keep passing it forward. #VUTFM969 #ProudVUTAlumnus #EducationMatters #PassingItForward #JamesMayinga MakeADifference by @jamesmayinga

OTHERS SAW A FOOTBALLER. I SAW THE MAN BEHIND THE JERSEY. ❀️⚽ Some saw a footballer. Others saw a broadcaster. I saw a man who walked the road less travelled. A man who faced disappointment, loss and uncertainty, yet kept finding the courage to rise. Umagawula gijima! πŸ˜…β€οΈ What a guy! To my Chocolad, ❀️ For 19 years, I've witnessed your resilience, vulnerability, perseverance and courage to own your mistakes, learn and keep going. I know how difficult sharing your story has been for someone as private as you. One picture carries a memory close to my heart. πŸ₯Ή In 2024, our daughter Ntokozo came home with her school name tag and said, β€œMama, you know I don't like it when Daddy is sad.” She asked to place it between our bathroom mirrors as a reminder to Daddy of Ntokozo β€” JOY. ❀️ Sometimes our children see the pain we think we've managed to hide. There were moments when I wondered whether you had the strength to keep going. Today, after nine months of revisiting memories and finding the courage to tell your story, your book is finally here. From Thulamahashe, Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, to the world! 🌍❀️ To every coach, teammate, friend, organisation and partner who believed in James, encouraged him or opened a door, THANK YOU! Your kindness has carried more than you know. πŸ™πŸ½ To the late Sharon Haussmann, your belief in the James Mayinga Foundation will never be forgotten. πŸ•ŠοΈβ€οΈ To @mo_phindi, thank you for inviting us to your podcast when encouragement meant so much. You planted a seed of hope. One day, over tea and biscuits, we'll tell you the fuller story. πŸ₯Ή My Chocolad, as James Mayinga's wife, nna wa dikgomo! πŸ˜…β€οΈ I'm proud of you, not because you've never fallen, but because you've never stopped learning to rise. The footballer wore number 25. The man behind that jersey carries lessons no number could measure. Congratulations, my love! ❀️ πŸ“– Passing It Forward – Where Lessons Become Legacy | R300 πŸ›’ Order through the link in my bio. 🎢 Allow me to play a song that carried James through some of his most difficult seasons. πŸ™πŸ½β€οΈ #PassingItForward #JamesMayinga #BeyondTheJersey by @jamesmayinga
**BEYOND THE JERSEY | THE MAN BEHIND NUMBER 25 ⚽** For many years, people knew me through football. They saw me wearing the jersey, playing the game I loved and living a dream I had carried since childhood. But like many of us, my journey has been about much more than what people saw on the field. Along the way, there were challenges, difficult decisions, people who believed in me and lessons that continue to shape my life today. Through my book, *Passing It Forward – Where Lessons Become Legacy*, I share some of those experiences, with the hope that someone may find encouragement and a lesson worth carrying into their own journey. πŸ“– **The book is now available for R300.** I would appreciate your support in getting a copy and sharing this journey with me. πŸ›’ **Order your copy here:** https://www.jamesmayingafoundation.org.za/book Thank you for your continued love and support. πŸ™πŸ½β€οΈ **Let's keep passing it forward!** James Mayinga by @jamesmayinga

A good friend once said, "If you wait for perfect conditions, you may never begin." ❀️ Yesterday, as the kids and I prepared the gift bags for James's book, I couldn't help but reflect on the journey that brought us here. The late nights, the sacrifices, the uncertainties, the lessons and above all, God's grace. πŸ™πŸΎ And now, holding a copy of *Passing It Forward – Where Lessons Become Legacy* in my hands, my heart is full. πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ Tatana James Mayinga, I am incredibly proud of you. Not simply because you have written a book, but because you found the courage to turn your experiences, including the difficult chapters, into lessons that may encourage someone else. Watching our children help with the preparations reminded me of something beautiful: Perhaps this is where legacy begins β€” not only in what we tell our children, but in what they see us doing. ❀️ In less than 10 days, God willing, we will be receiving our first stock. πŸ“–πŸ™πŸΎ We didn't wait for everything to be perfect. We simply started, trusted God and kept going. Some dreams take time. But time does not make them any less worth pursuing. *Passing It Forward – Where Lessons Become Legacy* By James Mahlavhana Mayinga **Coming soon.** ❀️ #PassingItForward #WhereLessonsBecomeLegacy #JamesMayinga #JamesMayingaFoundation by @jamesmayinga
