2 years have passed since my move from Boston to Apa Aesthetic in Miami. I love it here. A lot has changed, but my relationship with my Dad as a mentor and best friend remains strong as ever. taken in Miami, Florida by @jamesmsteindmd

“Fireside chat” with my Dad @jamesmsteindmd

Of all my mentors, I’ve learned the most from my Dad. A second generation prosthodontist, my Dad maintains a well private practice in Boston, MA where I worked alongside for almost 10 years before joining @apa.aesthetic @doctorapa

Here, we had a quiet moment to ask each other a few questions about life, dentistry and balance.

Last week I spoke about the importance of mentorship. This week, I’m diving deeper into what it truly means — to me and to our profession. Every day, I carry the wisdom and methods passed down from my mentors, combine them with lessons I’ve learned on my own, and refine what fits my personal style. That blend is what makes each dentist unique. When we pay it forward, we push the profession forward. by @jamesmsteindmd

Sometimes my beauty is not your beauty.
Immediate post treatment single visit cad/cam Ivoclar Empress Multi veneer. 70+ yr old patient fell off her bike. This is when I most enjoy being a digital dentist/digital technician and my patient benefits the most.

28 year old patient did not like the color and alignment of his teeth. He did not want to have Invisalign again. Veneers and cad/cam technology solved his tooth alignment and improved his smile.
