πŸ“Έ I Tell Athlete Stories πŸ“Έ
@lskd | JAMIEM-LSKD
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Recently LSKD asked me to be one of their community athletes here in NZ. Having worked with them over the past couple of years, I was genuinely stoked to be able to represent the brand. But also… it forced my hand a bit. I spend most of my time behind the camera telling other people’s stories, so turning it on myself felt a bit unfamiliar. Like, β€œwhat actually is my story?” kind of feeling. So this is me attempting that. It’s a bit more personal than what I’d usually put out, but it’s just a bit of context for anyone who’s followed along, worked with me, or has no idea who I am and is wondering why I’m always lurking around gyms with a camera. A lot of what I do is shaped by the people around me. The communities, the athletes, and the everyday grinders just showing up and getting after it. That’s the stuff that actually means something to me. So yeah… this is a small window into that. And into me. Big thanks to LSKD for backing me and bringing me into the community. Spent the last couple of weeks in California with the Kia MaΜ„ia team, my friends. I thought everyone would be talking about the CrossFit Games. Instead, they just talked about each other. Probably says everything you need to know. Go well this week team. πŸ‡³πŸ‡ΏπŸ€ #crossfitgames taken in San Jose, California by @jamie___alexander
