“Breathe. Feel. Love.”

As our run of #hedwigandtheangryinch shows come to an end I want to take this time to thank @leedsplayhouse @homemcr and all the incredible team, musicians, cast and crew who have worked on this show. Thank you for believing in my vision and working so hard to make this such a special show. It’s been a truly unforgettable experience directing this show and I feel very blessed for this opportunity and to work with such an amazing and talented bunch of people. I am so proud of what we have achieved!

I want to also take this time to thank @stephentrask and @johncameronmitchell for their support but also to say thank you for writing such a wonderful timeless unapologetically queer musical. It’s been amazing being able to put our own stamp on it and create a UK version. I think it’s been exactly what audiences here have needed right now.

And to all the amazing audiences and supporters, the ‘Hedhed’ fans and the Hedwig virgins, everyone who has seen this show and shown this company so much love, thank you! I have been overwhelmed with the reactions, responses and comments we have had. It’s been amazing!

37 shows and 37 standing ovations from incredible audiences! Wow!

Thank you so much! 💜 by @jamie_fletcher

This was the standing ovation from the final performance of #hedwigandtheangryinch @homemcr

Pretty amazing and overwhelming thinking about the responses and comments we got from audiences throughout the run of show @leedsplayhouse & @homemcr

So much love on display for our show and all involved!

Unapologetic queer and trans joy 💜

🤩 Fantastic to be back working with @alexbeetschen! 🌱 🎭

Alex has been busy as Musical Director on the brilliant West End production of Into the Woods, but I’ve been lucky enough to steal some of his time this week for our Seymour & Audrey auditions for my new production of Little Shop of Horrors produced by @leedsplayhouse in association with @oxfordplayhouse 🌿

And WOW! What a week! ✨

A massive thank you to our brilliant casting director @lucycassoncasts, and to everyone who auditioned for us! We’ve seen an incredible range of talent and it’s been an absolute joy to meet so many fantastic performers. 💚

I LOVE this musical, and I’m absolutely buzzing to be bringing a new version of it to life with such a fabulous creative team. There’s so much to be excited about, and I genuinely cannot wait for you all to see what we have in store next year! 🪴👀

“And I dream of a place where we could be together at last…”

I love directing and I love collaborating with brilliant artists. Been working with @robakajackflash @testamenthomecut on an R&D for a new freestyle rap theatre show. All I can say at this early stage is it’s an ambitious show and it’s very exciting! Thanks @grandtheatrels1 @cityvarieties for having us by @jamie_fletcher

Stories collide in a raw, funny, and deeply human reflection on race, faith, and community
