Finally telling MY story…

Growing up, speed, pressure, and split-second decisions weren’t adrenaline-fueled moments. They were everyday life. Racing was in my blood. I was born into it. A family of racecar drivers (even my mom raced powder puff 🏎️💨).

When everything around you is moving fast, you learn something early.

DON’T panic.
DON’T hesitate.
STAY calm.

You learn how to read situations instantly, trust your instincts, and lead while others slow down.

NASCAR was my first job. Traveling the country, learning what leadership actually looks like when the pressure is real. Standing in the winner’s circle not as a moment, but as a standard. That environment teaches you early that leadership isn’t about noise, it’s about composure when everything is moving fast. And trust me, those NASCAR drivers mastered the art of remaining calm when they’re surrounded by fast cars and chaos. 🙌🏻

That foundation never left me. It followed me into every room, every negotiation, every decision.

Years later, while pitching a commercial project, it showed up again in a very real way. I pitched the deal while going 150 MPH around the track, when everyone bet I wouldn’t. 💁🏻‍♀️ #checkmate

What they didn’t realize is that living life full throttle, while anticipating everyone else’s next move, has always been my strength. I learned that young. So when the opportunity came to get back behind the wheel and merge my love of racing with my love of commercial real estate, there was no hesitation.

So, naturally, when I started searching for a branding video idea that actually felt like me, not staged, not trendy, not forced, the answer was obvious.

Go back to my roots.

Commercial real estate works the same way… It rewards the ones who can stay calm when everything is moving fast.

Who know when to accelerate, when to take the curve, and how to lead without losing control.

That’s why commercial real estate comes so naturally to me. I was literally born for this!

To my momma,

You may not know this, but you’ve inspired me in ways I can’t explain.

Watching you fight cancer not once, not twice, but THREE times taught me more about strength, faith and courage than anything else ever could. I watched you smile through pain and find strength on the days when I know you were tired of being strong.

I’ll never forget the day you told me about when you were pregnant with me and found out you had cancer at the same time. The doctors gave you an impossible choice… save yourself or save me.

And you chose me. ♥️

Before you ever held me or knew the woman I would become, you chose my life over your own. But God knew I needed my momma too, so He kept you here with me. ❤️

Then cancer came again. I remember walking into the cancer center with you and completely breaking down. You were the one fighting this horrible disease, yet somehow I was the one falling apart. I’ll never forget the peace you carried through it all. It was almost like you knew God was holding your hand the entire time.

Then came the third cancer diagnosis.

I never told you this, but I was scared this time. I was scared you didn’t have another fight left in you. I remember you saying, “Jamie, I don’t know if I can do this again.” My heart crumbled.

But somehow you found the strength again. Maybe that’s when God held your hand a little tighter. You got back up, fought harder than I’d ever seen, and somehow still kept that smile on your face.

Momma, thank you for fighting. Thank you for choosing me all those years ago and for choosing to keep fighting every time life tried to knock you down.

You didn’t just survive cancer. You taught your daughters how to survive the hard things in life.

And every little bit of strength people see in me has a piece of you in it.

This month reminds me how thankful I am for your fight and how thankful I am that God let me keep my momma.

I love you more than words could ever explain. 🎀

Fun fact… I’ve been an aerialist for 7 years and at one point wanted to audition for cirque. Haven’t been back on the silks in YEARSSSS but boy was it a rush to practice a routine again.
