1070 FT, 61 STORIES, 11,000 LED FIXTURES STARTING THIS FRIDAY JULY 4TH, SF!
PLAYING ALL OF JULY, TRULY A DREAM COME TRUE!

The dancer is inherently
”weaving between histories” moving laterally, caught in a rhythm between resistance and release. Embodying the tension of history and the fluid grace of becoming. The color palette was inspired by the red & green of the pan African flag, I chose to create a more rich palette to identify the richness of where I feel black history is moving towards.
I’m exploring what it means to be suspended — between past and present, struggle and softness, resistance and release. This piece is about Black presence, motion, and memory. A love letter to my ancestors, to Black motion, and to my beautiful grandmother, Linda Ann Davis, whose deep Southern roots shaped the way I understand Black identity. She always preached the importance of embracing who I am, staying grounded in the history I come from, and walking the path that feels true to me. this work feels right for this moment, it feels true — A tribute to the strength and resilience that she always embodied. 🎥: @duncansinfield @emmastrebel @fatherdres by @jaminhalcorn
