Bolivia - my 50th country and a place that has been on my heart since my first travels to SA 18 years ago. It was worth the wait. “Death Road” aka one of the only times you will see me on a bike. I could live in this jumpsuit though. I’m sure I am reffering to elevation here. Form was so perfect I almost broke my neck. Best 8 dollars I have ever spent. Obligatory Salt Flats Pancho™️ procured ✔️ Free ASMR Because the outfit was 🔥 My influencer moment Where are we? Who is she? Then the real adventure began. Wild brake down views. Least there was wine. 🤍 And that meant I got to visit with my homies 👽 YUP. And find new ways to star gaze, ride in cars and get lost. Peru - my “sweat equity vacation.” I wanted to push the body, test the pace and go places I needed to work to see. So I could to remind myself who I am outside my comfort zone (sea level). I will follow @jtkapp and @allifrerichs to the moon set and back even if it means huffing canned air to get there. Thin air = nature’s popper. Finally got to be cold. Sucks just as much as I remember. 15,100. (for those on imperial) Lizarding. Somehow on trend for this one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Grateful for getting to be weird in 10 countries with you and counting. Obligatory. We might have… Snuck in here. 🤫 The decompression was @allifrerichs personal Machu Picchu (aka the anti sweat equity vacation) Which included hot tubs and lamas at Mountain View Experience. Lights on. No one home. Me, being jealous. Freebie on the grid. Ended the Peru side of the adventure by returning to The Uros islands and staying with the same family I stayed with 8 years ago. It only hit me today that I opened a small business in Mexico. I just kept plugging away till it was done not thinking about what it meant for my future, just knowing it was the next big adventure. I have been a sole entrepreneur for 8 years, in my career for over 26. I never had aspirations of opening my own business just wanting to be free and creative. I set out on a journey with my career and with moving to Mexico. I promised myself I would say fuck yes to the things that felt meant for me and no to things that weren’t. I’ve worked hard in my career but I have also given myself deep periods of rest so I can stay creative and authentic to my path. The time was right. The offer to make this a reality was a once in a lifetime. Here is to new chapters. Don’t worry NYC. You still get me every six weeks. Treasure the time you have in your body. Especially doing the things you love most. Almost three months ago I thought I lost everything to debilitating and unexplainable nerve pain. Surfing, dancing, my career, even just being able to be present in a room full of loved ones felt impossible. It was beyond devastating but equally humbling. Grateful for the intuition our physical form has for healing when we listen carefully. To be home in my body again everyday and every moment is a gift I hope to never take for granted again.
