Thoughts from just the post side of things (I have not shot on them or even seen them in person).
The lenses are very sharp and clean. Minimal CA. Bokeh looks really nice and consistent in character between the lenses. Minimal Lens breathing. They pin cushion...even on the 85mm however for me that adds to its character. I do prefer bowing/ barrel distortion but I don’t mind this. Not a big fan of the flares as it kind of looks like a streak filter but it does display some secondary vertical flaring which streak filters don’t usually have. The 35mm and 40mm vignette on the Alexa 35 in 4:3 mode. Its fine in 6:5 mode. They are Sharp! Personally I’m not a fan of really sharp lenses but I can definitely see me using these if I need that look (which is definitely needed for some projects). I own a set of Atlas anamorphic and prefer them for their softer rendition and more vintage character which can be cleaned up by stopping down the lens. The Proteus line seems like a decent mix of Master anamorphic (clean, sharp, minimal breathing), Cooke (pincushion distortion) and a sprinkle of Atlas Orions (character). Overall these lenses look great. I can see myself also owning a set for when I want a clean, sharp anamorphic look. by @jamrockards

KARMA ________ *** 10 - 60 Challenge ***

Karma was a situation that really happened but it wasn’t the original idea for the challenge, until EVERYTHING started falling apart……BUT……Still being committed while Laying on the floor and looking into the ceiling my mind provided me with this idea since I still had the TV in my possession. The whole project was shot with natural light and foley sound was captured with an iPhone . This challenge only allowed 10 frames in 60 seconds so each shot was specific to the story not much was thrown away other than extra frames.

“Die Another Day”.........seems a great line during these times.

I remember looking at the footage and this shot kept reminding me of “James Bond” @halleberry memorable scene and I thought 🤔 daaaaang I missed the horizon but after revisiting that scene of the film 🎞 today I realized, there’s also no horizon killing dat OCD.
