* STAR BOY *
A Cinema 101 finals , where we were task with telling a story without using dialogue in one minute. This story came to me since the first ANOUVUE Collective challenge called the “10 - 60 challenge”, where any member that accepted the challenge needed to tell a story with no dialogue using only 10 shots in 60 seconds, modeled after the *** AFI Conservatory « Ten-Sixty » admissions assignment @americanfilminstitute ***. When I got the idea I thought of these two dancers but scheduling issues made them unavailable, so I was left without an idea with one day left. While laying on the carpet looking up at the ceiling KARMA came to me about a broken TV…….but…..my original idea stayed with me, I couldn’t let it go because I could see the shots in my head every time I thought of it……So when one of my first finals were to create a one minute film with no dialogue, I already had a story and luckily I got the original actors I had in mind and the crew I needed to pull it off.

*** Camera Setup ***

Lights. Camera. Action.

Something big is in the pipeline. Had the opportunity to meet some incredible new people and step on set as one of the DPs. Looking forward to seeing what comes from this, it’s going to be something special.

Over the next two days, we’ll be bringing a few short films to life, all shot on two RED Komodos. 🎬

Cine Gear 2026! The must ground breaking technology I saw was from Sony, they had a prototype 3D holographic pre vis system, where you could import a 3D scan of your location, and see it 3 D holographicly and then interact with it, moving around the camera 3D in space, characters, and objects, to then record your shots, ands shoot your movie in pre vis, before you shoot your movie. It was truly incredible to work with!

@cine_gear_expo is just weeks away and couldn’t more excited to announce that “1.21 Gigawatts (Directors Cut)” with screening at Cine Gear Film Series. This makes our now 10th film festival Official Selection! This also means we will be screening right on the Universal Studios lot – how cool is that?!

We of course would’ve never gotten to where we are right now without our amazing crew. So over the next couple of weeks we will be highlighting and showcasing our talented team out of our immense appreciation for them. Thank you!

1.21 Gigawatts, the Back to the Future music video I DPed, has been making its way through festival circuit! So far we’ve gone to both Hollywood Reel Film Festival and Pasedena Film Festival. It’s been so much Fun seeing it on the big screen, hanging with our crew, and running into old friends!

1.21 Gigawatts the Directors cut played at @pasadenafilmfestival ! My favorite part of the Director’s Cut is the credits sequence, which has a lot of #bts footage from the shoot. In it you can spot a lot of the Griswold Media family, including @dpgriz @heydare82 @themichaelkolb and @jamrockards
Congratulations @binarypines on making such an excellent music video and having a great festival presence!

My first red carpet press photos! I still have no idea how to pose in front of a camera without a mirror, but I’m so happy to have shared this experience with such amazing (and more photogenic!) people.

Enjoy this mini photo dump from the @hriff_hollywood_film_festival step and repeat.

Our first screening! Our first award and film festival! Our first time almost dying in a (briefly) stuck elevator!

Thank you to our amazing crew and to @hriff_hollywood_film_festival for honoring us with Best Music Video AND scheduling us in a block with such fantastic stories from legendary people: @plymptoons’s latest animated movie, @whale52themovie, and @jacmonika’s incredibly moving documentary, WHITE BELT.

And thanks again to our wonderful crew, @nomorekingsmusic, and @astonish.entertainment.2006 for making this happen. <3
