This is the first year I’ve grown dahlias. I just love making bouquets and seeing these gorgeous flowers bloom.

Loved our water coloring at the park. I decided to do this painting on salt at the park. It was getting pretty messy Sunday mornings so I brought it all to the park play date.

I made the templates in Canva and pre-salted several. Paint with glue, sprinkle salt on, and let dry

Get yourself to the Noisy Waters Mural Festival. So fun! Classes, makers market, night events, and going on Sunday. The art is top notch and it’s awesome to see artists in process.

What an incredible community event. Thank you @paperwhalearts for putting this on.

Grateful for the rain pouring down today but had to run out and pick as many flowers as I could. I am loving this rainbow in my yard. Especially on a grey day like today.

We are switching from a craft that goes along with the story to art stations this summer.

This will not only give our team a break, but it will also engage the kids creativity in another way, so hopefully when we come back in the fall with story based crafts, kids and adults will be re-energized to engage in these hands-on activities.

I’m so excited to see what our kids come up with.

This relaxed time without a deadline of trying to finish a craft before parents come back, will also give a different type of space for our team to build relationships with kids as they do art together.

May the Holy Spirit work during these creative times to reveal biblical truths to both kids and adults.
