We met just under 3yrs ago, thanks to a TV show for us mid-lifers and our children.
I was 47 and roger was 58.
Dating in mid life is very different to when you’re in your 20’s!
Peri- menopause for me, oh the joys! Roger has a bad knee. We both can’t read without glasses. I think about what we are having for dinner extra carefully, so we get our protein etc & our step count is a daily conversation.
Questions like, “Did you sleep well?” “Have you remembered to rub your eostrogel in?”
“Would you like me to run you a bath?” “Have you taken your tablets?” are very much the norm.

Our journey comes with so much understanding and a ‘want’ to be together not a ‘need’.

This is where we are at, and I wouldn’t change a thing. X by @janeybombshell

After a year of not singing much, I took myself off to do something for myself today. Something I’ve missed a lot, singing. After what used to be a way of life for years, I got myself back in the saddle and it felt like home again. ❤️

My latest little upcycle 🎨

Ooh I do love a trip to the tip! I actually wanted a larger frame so may make another one to go somewhere else yet! Oh and I’ll be getting an easel for it to stand on too..
I love creating these things, can’t beat adding your own personal touches to something. 🎨👰‍♀️

Products used:
Mirror £5 from the tip shop
Metal ring holders / floral foam / decorative mouldings / chalk pen all from @amazonuk
Chalk paint & wax @chalkpaint
Ivy & pots from the back garden
Dog & Roger, my own! 😘

A few days away in Spain.
We hired a car and visited Murcia, Cartagena & Mazarrón. Ate lots of Tapas, attempted to speak in Spanish lots, impressed myself if not anyone else & relaxed in the sunshine.
