Sharing this shot of me with my “Picasso’s Girlz” at the @dallasmuseumart ‘s 2014 Beaux Arts Ball, now known as The Art Ball. I first envisioned these heads for a 2008 fashion fundraiser I titled Artrageous, benefitting KidneyTexas. Ball designer @tpaddis was creating the museum’s Midnight in Paris themed fundraiser and asked me for some characters to add to his visuals. Voila! I’ve always enjoyed the creative process. My client The Headington Companies asked for a quirky greeter that reflected their Eye Ball theme. Here’s “The Mad Watch Man” in all his glory played by @tab_mullins as only he could do and our vision board as we created this character! Sharing some beauty today simply because we all need a bit more beauty in our worlds!! Producing this latest MadHatter’s luncheon fashion show resulted in the perfect presentation of drama and beauty. Started with a gaggle of gorgeous gals groomed to further perfection by the talented beauty team at @aboutfacepros. Dressed them in the fantastical glam of fashion sponsor @esegrembowski’s gowns and her short, spirited “cupcake” dresses, each designed to dazzle. Then have the models move Ese’s designs through a lovely garden at the Dallas Arboretum, walking so closely by the audience so as to feel the gowns brush by their legs. Underscore the entire visual feast with soul-stirring music and deliver
an unforgettable day of beauty for the @thewomenscouncil_da’s premiere fundraiser.

Had a wonderful Mother’s Day dinner with the lovely @texasanniewang, one of my favorite “daughters” that are such beautiful gifts in our lives. Love her mucho!

Wore this great dress from @palmerharding that moves fluidly from day to cocktails depending on how it’s styled. Hey Gents: can you do this in black?

Thoughtful and uber talented designer @l_e_v_i_p_a_l_m_e_r is also one of my “fashion children” and a forever part of an amazing group of now-adults that make up my #Jantern family. Thanks for keeping it global darling! Love you and that handsome husband of yours!

(For my international friends, Jan Dedrie Pfeffer Strimple was a supermodel who turned her acquired knowledge and experience into the business side, overseeing some of the most incredible fashion productions via her company, Jan Strimple Productions. When I was just starting out on my humanitarian journey, she made the time to offer advice and insights whenever I asked and still to this day sends me a birthday card every year with a handwritten message of encouragement.)

Jan - thank you for demonstrating how to stand with elegance in the face of a storm, how to walk with Spirit-Centered Grace amidst chaos and have a hell of a fun time doing it in style! Dallas misses you terribly and your impact resonates among all those lucky enough to have been encouraged by you!🤗
