This is Blueberry. He pooped on the porch.

Blueberry didn’t want to work that day; no he didn’t. He wanted the day off. Should’ve let him have it. Should’ve let him stay on the porch.

Ask me how I know…

Still best day ever. Take me back. 7.15.26

Getting sized up by these guys down the street. Basically middle school all over again. Hope I fit in.

Met a woman this week, a PK whose dad started preaching in 1927. We traded war stories of church. Joy and tears, laughter and sorrows. The net sum was gratefulness and deep belief in a living God, despite the mess we’ve made of church. For decades (even after computers made it easier) her dad wrote every single sermon he ever preached on this typewriter. Pretty amazing.

As the modern day philosopher @avrillavigne said, and I quote: (ehem) “Why’d you have to go and make things so complicated?” Oh I don’t know - because we do. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Think she was talking to the church? 😂 by @jaredmdean

Finest bourbon for the finest boy.

Hard to believe my best friend’s been gone a year. Life isn’t the same without ya Cash - incredibly grateful for the dozen years we had, wouldn’t have minded a dozen more. You sure were the best boy.

Had this unopened bottle of @blantons_bourbon on the shelf for years waiting on a special occasion. Last year, when Cash headed on, that special occasion I’d been hoping to find, found me. @kelly_luu and I raised a somber, tearful glass to the ol boy, put it back in the box, back on the shelf. A few of us cracked it open today to commemorate the double greatest. Sure hope all dogs go to heaven 🫶🏼 by @jaredmdean

Yeehaw date night w/ @kelly_luu 😍 When a drunk couple steals your phone to take a “better picture” you’re left with what ya got. 🤷🏻‍♂️ So awesome reconnecting with @samhuntguitar last week in Wyoming and then seeing him play tonight in Charleston. Mad props. And definitely an honorable mention to our third wheel Kingston 🤘🏽 (@amy.martiny.hosey) good times.

Great show @samhuntguitar (@kaitlinbutts @ellalangleymusic & others). I’d forgotten how much I enjoy being immersed in talent, especially the talent of friends. by @jaredmdean
