POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Took a big personal step in my jiu-jitsu journey yesterday competing in my first tournament and came out on top.

I started training BJJ to learn a skill, build some self-confidence, and get some exercise. I swore I would never compete. Honestly, because it seemed so terrifying to me, and guess what…it was but I’m glad I did it anyways.

Not to mention I pulled my hamstring really bad the night before. I woke up and can barely walk out of bed. Thankful for Dr. Brian of @321performancept for getting me ready to compete physically and mentally with the injury.

Thankful for my coach @leonardosaggioro, teammates at @lsbjjacademy, @morganquackenbush, and all my other training partners through these last 3.5 years. Love you all.

Now it’s Back To The Jungle 🦍

Great day filming technique and a video podcast with the champs!

@lucaspinheirobjj has 20+ new technique videos coming out soon so make sure you’re following him!

It was great working with and interviewing one of jiujitsu’s most exciting competitors at the moment, @danielsathlerbjj. Grateful for the opportunity to sit down with him on the podcast and share some of his story. Stay tuned!

Have a great weekend everyone! As Lucas would say “BJJ For Life. OSS” 💪

First trout in the books! Xander and I had a blast fishing mountain creeks last week for rainbows. Such a beautiful and delicious fish. Such a different fishing style from the redfish and bass fishing were used to, but so glad we got to try something new and came out on top! Can’t wait to try it again soon!

1st Tarpon Catch! It may be a juvi-poon but I’ve been trying to catch one of these fish for over 7 months with no success. I’ve learned so much about fishing throughout the process and it was worth the weight.

Got them on the @pfluegerfishingproducts ultra light combo + 5lb mono + Off Shore Angler 1/16 bucktail jig.

Never give up on fishing! Keep grinding boys!

Nothing like 4th of July bass fishing!

Shout out to this patriotic @culpritfishing worm. I wasn’t sure if this color would be good, but they crushed it!
