I thought having so many photos from competitions would be a good thing (over 30,000)... but truthfully it's not 😂 there's so many amazing photos to choose from when I post, so here's a handful of hidden gems from over the years! I'm going to try to make more of these posts over the next few weeks!

This year has been a mix of emotions, but mostly good ones. I think the first pic sums up how I felt this past year: moments of darkness, but when the light did shine, it shined bright and on those big peaks, the big accomplishments and most memorable experiences. I'm thankful for the people who made this year the way it was, the photography opportunities that I've had, and I am excited for bigger and better things in 2026! Much love to all my friends 🫶🏻 you're all amazing

The silence out here is almost heavy. No trees, no sound, nothing moving except your own breath. It doesn’t even feel like Earth when you’re standing in it—it feels like a movie set, a Star Wars planet, somewhere humans don’t belong. But maybe that’s what makes it hit harder. You realize places like this exist here, now, hidden in plain sight.

Bonneville Salt Flats back in April of 2025. Crazy to think that this used to be the bottom of a 1,000 foot deep lake.

Climbing feels raw. The rock doesn’t care if your fingers split or your arms give out... it asks what you have left when everything’s slipping. And in that space, just on the edge of falling, is where the real work happens. Not in the send, but in the fight. Not in the highlight, but in the repetition. Climbing humbles you, but it also teaches you to come back, to stay present, to keep reaching and crushing, just like @erik_cmiel and @jack.felix_ are doing from this Little Cottonwood session back in March of 2024.

Last November, @antonsmo.271 and I drove up to Park City on a snowy night. I don’t usually shoot street photography — most of the time it’s climbing competitions or bike races — but I had my camera in the car and figured I’d take it out.

The neon signs, the slushy streets, the little details like the post office and shop lights — it all just made sense. These aren’t perfect, but they capture the vibe of wandering around with no real plan other than seeing what I could get.

I don’t have a ton of photos like this, but I really liked how this set turned out, so here it is.
