We had a time this past Sunday!
•
You honestly don’t realize how much you need something until you receive it. This past weekend the @probeautydirect TEXTURES Hair Art Show gave me exactly that. Getting to mix, mingle, and soak up the best our industry has to offer, alongside so many friends old and new, was everything!

The highlight for me was getting to present my girl @joiewallacehair with the Artisan Award. She deserves it more than words can say, and it was an honor to be the one to hand it to her. Special thank you to @greg_gilmore for making it happen.

Exposure changes everything! 🪴

One thing I’m intentional about with @beesbeautyacademy is making sure my students don’t just hear about what’s possible in the beauty industry. I want them to SEE it, experience it and have access to the people who are actually doing it.

Our @wsuc2pipeline field trip gave our students the opportunity to step inside two incredible beauty businesses and learn directly from the women who built it.

Thank you @locsofloveceo and the entire @__locsoflove__ team for welcoming us, pouring into our students and showing them what it looks like to build, grow and employ others.

@jasblack watching you build the new @studiolushdetroit has been incredible. The intention, excellence and elevation throughout your space is inspiring. I’m so grateful our girls were able to experience it firsthand.

THIS is why partnerships, mentorship and exposure matter. 🤝🏽

Sometimes a young girl just needs to walk into a room and see a woman who looks like her thriving to realize, “I can do this too.”

Thank you @wsuc2pipeline and Wayne State University for giving me the opportunity to create experiences that educate, empower and expand what our students believe is possible.

Talk about pressure 😫🤣

Model prep days are always hectic, but I had to rise to the occasion to get this full blonde application done in time!
•
For context, she came in with about 6 inches of regrowth and 4 inches of blonde toward her ends. I didn’t want to lift much further past her starting point to protect the integrity of her hair, so I did a full retouch and ran the lightener through her ends for just the last 10 minutes of processing to brighten them up.

Gratitude!! That’s the word for the last 24 hours.

@blondesolutions Blonde Perspective Tour touched down in Atlanta and it did NOT disappoint. The attendees showed up with the best energy, everyone looked beautiful, and there was so much engagement and knowledge shared.

My partner in crime @taylermadehair , thank you for co-teaching this class with me. You are an absolute wizard at color chemistry and this class would not have been the same without you.

To @salonmoraee , thank you for your hospitality and opening up your beautiful space for us . And to our models, @me.kenzi and @tracydotb, thank you for being the perfect canvas and for your patience throughout the whole process.

And to everyone who came out and supported, thank you! I hope everyone walked away with a few more tricks and a deeper understanding of how the @blondesolutions lightening system works.
