Exposure changes everything! 🪴

One thing I’m intentional about with @beesbeautyacademy is making sure my students don’t just hear about what’s possible in the beauty industry. I want them to SEE it, experience it and have access to the people who are actually doing it.

Our @wsuc2pipeline field trip gave our students the opportunity to step inside two incredible beauty businesses and learn directly from the women who built it.

Thank you @locsofloveceo and the entire @__locsoflove__ team for welcoming us, pouring into our students and showing them what it looks like to build, grow and employ others.

@jasblack watching you build the new @studiolushdetroit has been incredible. The intention, excellence and elevation throughout your space is inspiring. I’m so grateful our girls were able to experience it firsthand.

THIS is why partnerships, mentorship and exposure matter. 🤝🏽

Sometimes a young girl just needs to walk into a room and see a woman who looks like her thriving to realize, “I can do this too.”
