Alana Hunt's exhibition “To the Owner" is on @uts_art. Following our working together with @pica_perth last year, Alana is continuing to pursue questions of housing injustice in ways that are both personal and structural. UTS is such a great context for the show as one of the hallmarks of the Gallery is the links it makes to researchers across the University. As always, Alana's project is connected to a breadth of ideas - local and international - through programming with The Ultimo Institute and with the AGNSW's Sydney Cinematheque.

I had my 21st birthday in Nepal and will be forever grateful for that chapter of my life. With a head full of travel literature, I’d set out in search of adventure. In the aftermath of recent catastrophic events, l hope that many other trekkers are heading to Nepal's safe parts in support of its people and its economy.

A cat's tail peaking from a box - one of the joins, threads and touch points that run through “Archetypes", 4A's 30-year anniversary show, curated by Amelia Winata. Away from the opening night crowds, partial disclosure, itinerancy and impersonation by the artists is anchored in Amelia's lucid thinking about personal and organisational histories and notions of Asianness. I've recently been preparing a display chronicling 40 years of the Waverley Art Prize and the histories that municipal prizes carry. I've been delving into the Waverley Council Local History Collection.
