This just isn’t sitting right with me …

How can the BVTU host an “ALL” Candidates forum while at the same time endorse specific candidates in each riding. 🤯 Let me be clear … I have ZERO issues with the new candidates themselves. They are all wonderful people. So are the teachers we are VERY fortunate to have in the Bulkley Valley. My issue is the BULLYING of existing trustees that has been ongoing from the BVTU and some of its associates. The current trustees are good people, they are parents, they are volunteers in the community and I can assure you that they care about ALL students. The board will see new blood and perspectives just by natural attrition alone. This is healthy and natural. A completely new board is not good and it is dangerous. If the BVTU and its associates TRULY care about the STUDENTS they can start by leading by example and stop bullying and intimidating existing trustees. I am sickened by what what I am witnessing and I can’t believe these political tactics are happening in our community let alone at the School Board Level. by @jason.local

Best of luck to this kid. Heading to represent Canada in New Zealand. He’s worked to hard to get where he is and has had a TONNE of help along the way from friends, family, business’s, snowboard sponsors. Please know that we are all VERY appreciative.
