Girl Power! 👸🏽 👸🏼 👸🏻 by @jasonmj805

Since I’m off the mats for a week or two, I figured I’d take a moment to reflect on this past weekend’s amazing promotion ceremony at @sssvbjj.
So many well-deserved promotions—it was incredible to see everyone come together, support one another, and witness how far we’ve all come in our BJJ journeys.
For me personally, between competitions, knee surgery, and the roller coaster of my kids competing, BJJ has been a constant. Honestly, I can’t imagine what my life would be like without it—and I know it wouldn’t be this meaningful.
To all my teammates and friends who’ve trained with me, pushed me, and helped me grow—thank you. This promotion means a lot, and I’m grateful for every one of you.
To my amazing wife @catherinejosephhh—thank you for your endless support, especially when I’m barely able to walk. I love you.
And to my coaches @drujtsu and @luisredig—thank you for your patience, your guidance, and the time you’ve invested in helping me learn this “gentle art.” I truly appreciate everything you’ve done for me. by @jasonmj805

Crazy to think it’s already been four weeks post ACL surgery. It’s been a mission but I am so thankful for all the support from @catherinejosephhh and everyone else. I miss training with my friends so much. But I’m using this time to get strong and make a full recovery. A couple more months and I’ll be back on the mats doing what I love. by @jasonmj805

What an awesome weekend competing at @grapplingx. The @sssvbjj team showed up and did not disappoint. I am so proud of my son and everyone who competed. Amazing feeling to have all of us together and have such a great outcome. Besides the 30 medals the team brought home. The gym taking 1st in NoGi. 2nd in Gi and Grand Champions. It’s an amazing experience to get to have with my friends and family. Thank you to everyone who showed up to help coach and all the family and friends that came to support. Can’t wait for the next one. by @jasonmj805
