Ok, humblebrag. After three years of hard work, I’m so happy to announce that Rana Amirtahmasebi and I are publishing the Routledge Handbook of Urban Cultural Planning.

A partnership with @worldcitiesculture, the handbook brings together 40 experts from 6 continents in order to inspire new thinking by putting forward ideas and examples across geographies and contexts – With a global perspective, cultural planners, urban designers and community leaders share their on‑the‑ground experience and insights about how to mobilize the power of culture and the arts to transform urban spaces, grow equitable economies, enrich community engagement and belonging, and support their local culture.

Thank you to all of our awesome authors and partners in making this happen. Huge shout outs to the WCCForum & @laiagaschcasals, Global Cultural Districts Network (GCDN), @spfortunato, @neaarts and more for helping us make this happen. Authors include the head of the Forum @justinesimons, @mariarosariojackson, Roberto Bedoya, Anne Gadwa Nicodemus, Arjun Chanmugam, David Fakunle, Nymisha Herrera Nimmagadda, Dave Feldman, Deepti Silwal, Carl Grodach, @michaelrohd, Gabriella Gomez-Mont, @eddietorresnyc2001, @tomfinkelpearl , Adrian Ellis, Julie Goodman, @awzitcer, Tom Borrup, @jules.rochielle , Miso Kim, @katherine_dirga, Edna Dos Santos-Duisenberg, Christiano Braga, Laia Gasch, Christina Ballico, Alfio Leotta, @jonathondglus , Randy Engstrom, Jasmine Mahmoud, @laurazabel, Angie Kim, @carolinewoolard, Erika Hennebury, @plentycrafty, @niko.w.okoro, @gaillord4, Brian Green, @nico.w.okoro Eduardo Rojas, Jayashree Bardhan, Catalina Valencia, Sandra Pineda, Yushi Utaka, Helen Kearney, Bárbara Mínguez García, Poonam Verma Mascarenhas, Denise Fairchild, @tairone76, @jenhughesart by @jasonschupbach
