Sometimes a very small composite restoration can make a significant difference to the entire smile Smile makeover is not always about veneers. It is about choosing the right treatment for the right indication - following a minimally invasive approach and preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible Sometimes we need ceramics, sometimes we need orthodontics, and sometimes a few carefully planned additions of composite are enough to completely change the perception of a smile Minimal intervention. Maximum visual impact Want to understand all the details behind predictable anterior composites - from treatment planning and shade selection to layering, anatomy, texture, finishing and polishing? This time - a different challenge: a full composite veneer on a single central incisor Matching one central means matching everything: shape, value, translucency, texture and light behavior - until the restoration simply disappears No ceramic. 🟢 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐓. 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑. 𝐎𝐂𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍. . . . . . #díaSEOC #OdontologíaConservadora #OdontologíaRestauradora #Zaragoza taken in Hotel Vincci Zaragoza Zentro by @javiertapiaguadix

Old composite veneers. Poor shape, poor texture, an esthetic failure The goal was not simply to replace them - but to bring back a natural-looking smile And for this case, we needed just two composite shades. Because natural esthetics is not about having 20 syringes in your drawer. It’s about understanding light, anatomy, proportions, texture and surface morphology - and knowing exactly where and how to use each layer Two shades. Proper planning. Precise execution. And a completely different result Swipe through the clinical workflow 👉 Want to learn the full protocol and reproduce this kind of result in your own practice? Join us at the hands-on BIO-EMULATION IN ANTERIOR COMPOSITES course, led by the author of this case, @javiertapiaguadix Course in English: 🗓 16-17 October, 2026 👉 Registration link in bio 📩 DM us to book or for any questions 📍 BG Academy, Prague, Czech Republic 🌐 belograd.com 🛒 @bgdentalshop 🦷 @bgdentallab by @javiertapiaguadix

CLASS IV - FOUR SHADES Replacement of an old Class IV restoration using a four-shade composite layering approach The treatment started with shade selection under polarized light, followed by a diagnostic wax-up and a silicone index to guide the palatal anatomy After removing the old restoration, the palatal shell and proximal profile were created first. The internal structure was then rebuilt with Light Dentin and Medium Dentin, followed by OM and Light Enamel for the final optical integration The result was evaluated immediately after rubber dam removal and again several days later, once the tooth had fully rehydrated Four shades working together to reproduce depth, translucency, fluorescence and natural surface character Case by @javiertapiaguadix Learn how to emulate natural tooth structure and master controlled composite layering for Class III, IV, V restorations hands-on at the BIO-EMULATION IN ANTERIOR COMPOSITES course with Javier Tapia-Guadix Course in English: 🗓 16-17 October, 2026 👉 Registration link in bio 📩 DM us to book or for any questions 📍 BG Academy, Prague, Czech Republic 🌐 belograd.com 🛒 @bgdentalshop 🦷 @bgdentallab by @javiertapiaguadix
