I started my career back in 2006 (17 years ago). Dentistry has changed a lot since then, but one thing hasn't changed, and that's constant education and learning. Continuing education drives me. I'm most excited when I'm learning new techniques to improve our patients' care.

I'm both grateful and excited for the opportunity to serve as president for the Toronto Crown And Bridge Study Club (#tcbsc), Canada's leading dental study club in Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry education. The club has grown to just over 600 members and is the second largest dental club in North America. Despite the club's name, the focus of continuing education has extended beyond Toronto geographically and "Crown and Bridge" philosophically to include all facets of clinical general dentistry. The goal of the club is to provide the highest level of continuing education from globally recognized speakers.

I can't wait for our world class speakers to share their experience and wisdom with our members. Dr. Federico Ferraris, Dr. Amelia Orta, Dr. Javier Tapia, Dr. Aviv Ouanounou, and Dr. Florin Cofar are revolutionizing the way we think and practice dentistry.

Collectively they make me wonder what the next 17 years of dentistry will bring...

Sjoe! This was a tough one from yesterday.

I'll post the clinical challenges synopsis slide to my story; but multiple factors: from limited mouth opening to a densely muscular floor of mouth.

We tried 3 different clamp selections: W2A; 27; then, finally, "No. 1" held it all together. (For my sake, too 🥲)

How do you approach circumferential deep margins?

I need to address these in stages. I could not fit a Hallerclamp as you will see the limited buccal space in my story. Also, the next available tooth is the 43.

🥹When i started my dental photography journey i had No teacher.
⏳It took me 5-6 years to get into photography n i had to learn all by myself.
🌸General Photography & having NO MONEY were my true teachers 🙏🏻
🫡Cause i had no money to buy macro lenses or flash i learnt alternative ways to reach my goal. These tough times n my failures taught me way too much than any teacher could.
🙏🏻After doing 5 years of butterfly life cycle 2 years of general photography of reptiles 3 years of birding photography i also gave up wildlife completely cause i felt i was invading the natural environment.
🇮🇳My time of glory was thanks to my splash photography due to which i got an opportunity to be interviewed by some of India's biggest photography magazines, national television, exhibition at some of the biggest art galleries of India. I became the judge for some of the most difficult photography competitions of India.
😇It's after i reached this stage i decided to become a teacher cause i felt now i've learnt everything (almost) n i think i will be ethical & correct to teach.

☀️This gave rise to Dental Photography School. But no 1 knew me in the dental field. Obviously no 1 supported me except my friends who told me i'm good to teach.

🙏🏻My initial batches have great names of Indian dentistry today namely Dr Komal Majumdar, Dr Moez Khakiani ,Dr Aslam Inamdar, Dr Vishal Gupta, Dr Varsha Rao & many more who gave me an opportunity to teach them. For this i'm greatly indebt to them cause they had FAITH In me
😊Today we cover everything though n the focus is more on right image composition & lens position as against equipment n ive also started teaching on phone in colleges cause PG students have many more investments to make. Although i show the pros & cons of all systems.
🙏🏻I feel blessed n proud to see so many of my course delegates on national & international podium. You all made me feel proud to be a teacher & have returned me with happiness for which i sacrificed many years & possibly a decade of my life.
