77 days flying through Dragon Land with the Mandarins 🐉

“If I must fall, Let me fall… the one I am becoming will Catch me”

At the beginning of the season I was scared I wouldn’t be able to complete the summer, I had recently sprained my ankle and couldn’t move it much. I went into the first day of spring training and tried my hardest to not think about it, but it’s pretty hard to forget about it when I’m dancing and running across uneven grassy fields. It felt like everyday was the same, like my ankle wasn’t getting much better. But one day I realized I wasn’t scared to jump on it, and another day that I could walk down stairs just fine, and another where I could run. I am now 21 performances, 77 days of working, and 1 more season of DCI completed. I wonder how much better the season would’ve been if I hadn’t sprained my ankle, but I also know how it taught me to work through pain and trust the process. If I had to fall I’m glad it was then, I’m sure the person I am now is a better version of me. #OTK
