You’re the only one I follow.

I submit to you, LORD Jesus Christ.

My whole life, I’ve tried to hustle my way to results. That mindset helped me achieve some strength and success, but over the past few years, I’ve realized… you can only “hustle” so far.

At some point, I had to acknowledge I’m not strong enough alone, no matter how hard I work. We all need something bigger to lean on.

That’s why I’ve put my faith in Jesus.

I’ve always had faith, but I placed it in all the wrong places - myself, my skills, my knowledge. I thought if I just improved myself, I could accomplish everything.

But I was wrong.

Without the opportunities that come from GOD, it didn’t matter how hard I worked. It felt like swimming against the current.

I’ve learned to let go of the “control” I wanted over my life.

Now, I give it and submit it to the LORD. It’s His plan, not mine.

This road can feel lonely at times, but it’s a lot less lonely walking with Him.

I’m not perfect and never will be, no matter how hard I try.

But you are, LORD.

You’re the only one I fear. The only one I serve. The only one I follow. by @jay_espitia
