Dear Daddy,

I’m not really sure how to start this, so I’m just gonna start. For the last 19 years, I have been a major daddy’s girl. Where you went, I wanted to be there too. 100% of the time. I just knew that if you there, I was gonna have fun. And that never stopped even when you were sick. You made me laugh every single day for my whole life without fail, even when I was mad at you. The last 3 or 4 years has really been a lot of you, me, and mom, and I can’t express to you how much I loved every second of it. You truly are my best friend. You always have been and you always will be.

I also can’t begin to tell you how beyond grateful I am for you and Reagan’s relationship. Knowing that the man I’m going to marry someday was so incredibly loved by you is something that is giving me so much peace right now.

I promise I’ll take care of Mama, Cash, Austin, Eden, and Jackson. If there’s anything this has taught me, it’s don’t assume you have more time to spend with the people you love. So, I’m going to be so much more intentional with spending time with everyone.

One thing that mama and I have been talking about the last couple of days is how we are going to live like you did before you got sick. We are gonna go to fun dinners, go on all the weekend getaways, and especially get out of our comfort zones by trying new things. That is something I know was a big part of who you were.

Gosh Daddy, I just love you so much. I can’t wait to tell my babies how wonderful, hilarious, and crazy their grandpa was, and how excited you were to meet them. Thank you for building such an incredible life for me. You always made sure I had everything I could’ve ever wanted and I wish I would’ve said that to you more while you were here.

I love you and miss you so much Daddy. Thank you for everything. I’m so beyond happy that you aren’t in pain anymore and you are with Jesus now. How incredible is that? I’ll see you soon.❤️
