I still tear up watching this because my god it’s been a journey. Being the partner of a fighter is not for the weak. 14yrs together and still going strong. Losses, failures, pressure, worry, sacrifices, hating each others guts for months at a time through camps 😂, …but all for moments like this 🥹

They say music is good for the soul and you can say that again!!! For one night I felt 18 again 🥹 nostalgia, memories, throwbacks …. I don’t care what anyone says UK garage scene was THE time to be alive. And it showed at the concert….good people, good vibes, good music, atmosphere UNMATCHED 🎉

And who better to share that experience with then my daughter 🥹

Feeling hella emotional this week 🥹

Didn’t seem 2 seconds ago this was me and my first born. In my head she’s still my baby. But in real life she’s out here passing her driving test and at her first ever festival with her mates living her best life 😭.

I don’t think anyone ever really prepares you for this stage of parenting. The letting go, and allowing them their independence and room to grow and make their own mistakes and choices. I had a hell of a lot of responsibility from a young age and didn’t go to my first festival until late 20s so I want her to have all these experiences. So glad she’s not crying into her pillow over boyfriends at this age and is just living it up with her girls! 🎉 Next stop is girls hol to Zante next year apparently. God help me 😭

Apparently the ‘proper runners’ laugh at people for wearing running vests who ‘only run 5ks’. Like I maybe get the hydration thing but where am I sticking my phone, keys and *cough* deep heat spray (IYKYK) 😝😂, on my head?!

I’ve got the @blendanbloom vest and it fits everything I need in and comes with a safety light (for my early morning or evening running girlies). Plus it doesn’t bounce around like those shit fitting ones 💅🏻

I love my kids fiercely, and family adventures are my world 🥰. But spending a morning back in the saddle (kid free! 🥳) for the first time in yearssss reminded me of who I am outside of motherhood. It’s so important to keep our own passions alive. The nature of my job is so stressful and I really needed to find ways to de-stress this week. I read somewhere online that when the world feels heavy go back to doing something that made you happy as a child…so that’s what I did 🐴. 10/10 recommend this advice! 🥹

What did you love doing before you had kids? Go do a little bit of that this week. ✨
