As the note says “the collecting never stops.” Shoutout to @rgenick1 and @hatclub for this gift 🎁.

My love of the Kansas City Royals (sometimes irrational given their results) is the root of my hat collecting so these two hats are perfectly additions to my collection. by @jaylaw22

Goal-den Tree Reppin’ KC Baby!

Check out the most KC soccer-rific tree ever during @festivaloftreeslks starting Friday, November 28 at 10 am at Maceli’s.

So many great entries this year, but I’m really proud I managed to pull off my KC soccer themed tree. Collecting and figuring out how to use all the @sportingkc and @kccurrent items was so much fun.

Special thanks to Tyler for a ton of autographed SKC Items and Sue and Jerry for agreeing to donate a pair of their awesome SKC seats to a mutually agreed upon game next season. by @jaylaw22

This season was amazing with a real sad ending unfortunately. I love this team and this community. CPKC is my happy place (despite it being a real pain to get to at times). In a year of heaviness and craziness, talking about, watching on TV, or experiencing live this team’s historic run brought joy to so many including me. I hope the players can be proud of all they accomplished despite the ending because I know the team’s supporters are so freaking proud of them.

Top moments of the season in no particular order for me - clinching the SHIELD with seemingly a million weeks to go, watching our ladies play for the USWNT in Arizona (Junior’s first cap and assist AND Coop’s first international goal) and in Kansas City (Coop wrecking havoc on NZ backline and getting 2 assists, plus the crowd chanting Captain and Celly Queen Lo into the match), watching the @kcbluecrew leadership hand out scarves to all the players after the last regular season home match, watching Danielle absolutely lose her mind (justifiably) over @melissa_etheridge in the Supporters Stand, getting Coop’s autograph and telling her I went to AZ to watch her and Junior play, taking my nephew Clark to his first match in CPKC stadium and seeing the excitement through his eyes, spending way too much money on Pitch Club seats for my birthday but getting to interact with my longtime favorite nwsl player @christenpress (since @tobinheath retired before her) in what turned out to be her final season, meeting the owners of the team—the Longs and celebrating the victory with them (hey, @cdlong97 gave me a friendship bracelet), hanging with my ride or die soccer bestie @kathleengier almost every weekend. So yea, Gotham may have won and I may still be cursing AKB and her diving saves but one loss can’t take away all my memories.

Birthday weekend off to an epic start! 🥳🥳🥳 KC Current powered through the hot match to pull off a 1-0 victory. Soccer bestie, @kathleengier, and I had a blast in the pitch club. Seeing the teams line up and march through was really cool. Thanks for my new friendship bracelet @cdlong97! The celebratory champagne was fun - thanks for the pics @angieknightonlong and @ravenjemison.

And I met CP23! Can’t wait to see you scoring “what have you done?” bangers again, @christenpress (just as long as it’s not against KC). 😉 by @jaylaw22
