A holiday tradition with a purpose 👑💙

For the past few years, @fittedroyalty has designed a Friends & Family New Era 59FIFTY @kcroyals hat to auction off in support of a local charity helping those in need. This year, I’m proud to support O’Connell Children’s Shelter.

I’ll be joining Maren Ludwig, the shelter’s Director of Development & Communications, on The Morning Brunch, hosted by FOX4 anchor Abby Eden, to talk about the shelter’s cause, this year’s hat design, and how our local community can help give back this holiday season.

Inspired by the blue caddy on his album THA STICK-UP KID.

A vivid blue crown, black visor, metallic gold UV/top button along with metallic threading in the logos/sidepatches help to bring that inspiration into a fitted made to rep the hometown.

I was SO honored to be chosen to be part of the Lawrence Habitat for Humanity Women Build Calendar!

This year’s theme was “The Women Who Built Me” and I couldn’t think of two more important women to stand beside than my daughters, Bri & Jade.

Being their mom is one of the greatest honors of my life. They have watched me build a life, a career, friendships, and a place in this community… but the truth is, they’ve built me just as much as I’ve built them.

What an incredible reminder that the women who build us aren’t always the ones who came before us, sometimes, they’re the ones we’re raising right alongside us.

So grateful to Lawrence Habitat for Humanity for this opportunity and for celebrating the powerful women who shape our lives.

July 14, 2023.

That was the day the first authentic New Era 59FIFTY I helped design, the Reading Rainbow Royals, landed on my doorstep—a project created alongside a few like-minded people who simply loved buying & collecting fitted hats, especially Kansas City Royals hats.

Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to help create & bring more than 70 authentic New Era 59FIFTY designs to life, with many more still on the way.

Until today, the only place you could walk into a store & purchase one of my designs was in New York City.

Today, that changed.

You can now walk into Guy’s Bodega on Main St—right here in Kansas City—and buy one off the shelf.

Seeing something that began as a shared passion become physically available in the city that inspired so much of it is a moment I’ll never forget.

Kansas City, we’re home 👑⚾️

This is only the beginning. Starting down the street from the future home of the @kcroyals !!

The KC Streetcar rail stops for the Bodega at 1722 Main St are the Crossroads (19th & Main St) stop & the Kauffman Center (16th & Main St) stop.
