Nolan Wells did not drown. ✊🏾

We denounce the continued presence of Strange Fruit in this country. We reject any narrative that suggests Black people simply hang themselves, especially when questions surrounding a death remain unanswered.

We demand that the investigation into the death of Nolan Wells be reopened and that the truth be pursued with the urgency and transparency it deserves.

Let this serve as both a statement and a warning:

In the AUC, we fight back.

ALL ROADS LEAD TO THE SOUTH!✊🏾

In 1965, the Voting Rights Act passed the House and the Senate. Years later, the Supreme Court decided to strip away protections granted by the Act, leaving Black people vulnerable to racist gerrymandering across several states.

It seems that every time we take a step forward, they try to pull us backward. But resistance to force builds muscle — and that is why Black people are so powerful. We can confidently say: when we fight, we win.

Make no mistake: what they are trying to do in the South will be replicated and felt across the nation. Winning this fight in the South is crucial for justice for all. Don’t give up on a multiracial democracy. Get in good trouble and go vote. ✊🏾🗳️
