I am curating a series of three gigs for @dublinjazzcoop over the coming months.

First up the truly wonderful @edwinavankuyk

Edwina’s music is influenced by soul, pop and good old fashioned from the heart songwriting. Citing influences such as Olivia Dean, Norah Jones & Nelly Furtado. The Limerick artist has built steady momentum through her authentic lyricism and rich vocal delivery. Receiving airplay across all the major taste makers since the release of her debut EP ‘Feels So Right’.

And my good self on this one also to warm up the room!

25th October 3pm @cobblestonepubdublin

Let’s get it locked in the diaries folks! 💚✌🏻 taken in The Cobblestone by @jayne_musing

A while back now, I was diagnosed with ADD+. I haven’t really ever posted anything about it on here because I feel like there’s a stigma around it, and it’s all a bit #yawn “another one over here with the neurodivergent card”.

It’s actually been really good to understand myself with a fresh pair of eyes and to actually forgive myself for the myriad of things I’ve gotten wrong, because unless something is very interesting to me I find it so hard to really zone in. Or how I can become completely hyper-focused or uber sensitive about stuff that others seem to take in their stride.

Or..for days like yesterday, days when I’m literally all over the shop, getting fuk all done, while simultaneously feeling absolutely stressed by how much stuff I really need to do. Yet NO… instead, I’m discovering that there’s a great photo angle here in the bath. 🤯🫠

Jayne, get it together and leave the bathroom, for the love of God. ✌🏻😂💚

p.s I know it’s not good to start a sentence with “Or” but I think it kinda works here… by @jayne_musing

- House 🏠 🌍- at the expense of our beautiful land, our water supply & our society..our leaders are selling us out, ignoring us so the few benefit while the rest suffer. The house really is falling down around us lads…let’s raise the voices, the consciousness, the collective energy to say …enough!
