Her advocacy, “Painting Love for Mother Earth,” is a heartfelt ecological and educational initiative that speaks volumes. At its core is a children’s coloring book, crafted entirely from 100% recycled materials that teaches the next generation to love and protect the planet from a young age.

Meet Miss Earth USA 2025 @haleygracepoe
Standing tall at 5'7", she is a dedicated scholar with a mission rooted in both science and service. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology on a pre-medical track, with a minor in Healthcare Ethics, from Gannon University. Now, she is preparing to pursue her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, with a vision to become an endocrinologist.

Her passion lies at the intersection of healthcare and environmental justice. Recognizing the silent dangers of pollution, she founded the Microplastic Awareness Project (MAP), a powerful initiative designed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of microplastics on both human health and the environment.

Through MAP, she organizes environmental cleanups, champions the reduction of single-use plastics, and actively engages in legislative advocacy. One of her landmark efforts includes House Bill 1415 in Pennsylvania, which once passed, will mandate annual PFAS testing in local watersheds. These cancer-causing chemicals, often found in microplastics, pose serious risks to public health.

Beyond legislation, she is collaborating with the Department of Health and Human Services and the Environmental Protection Agency on groundbreaking policy to require warning labels on all plastic bottles, alerting consumers to the presence of microplastics and their associated health risks.
