Quick stop @shelland_flower_farm after last nights frost here in CT, Boss Woman (my Wife) @kkazland says the damage was minimal. She amazes me. The backing track is my current obsession, honestly, there wasn’t a second choice. @mjlenderman doing while you were dancing in the club by @hellothisisnate #thisislorelei #mjlenderman #dhalias #flowers #flowerfarmer by @jayrussell

Every recent picture I have of myself and Ellen Cynthia Stevenson may look deceiving. At first glance one might see a younger man helping an elderly woman, arm in arm or around her shoulder. The truth is harder to see. She propped me up, always. Cynthia was the most accepting, loving and down right hilarious person I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. She saw only the good in people, and never squandered a moment to tell you so. When we first met I was a wreck. I was a heavy drinker and smoker, a touring musician with no clue where life would lead. Cynthia looked right through it all, found the family man I’ve always been at heart and the rest just didn’t matter. I’ve never felt so accepted, flaws and all she only gave me support, love and encouragement. I will miss her dearly, the letters “MY GOD THE LETTERS” I’m taking perfect cursive handwriting, ruler lined and distinctly hers. She had a way of making you feel not only loved but worthy of it. Rest in Peace GG, you were the best of us. by @jayrussell
