Luke won’t die a grey white belt guys 🤣 We got to promote him to solid grey yesterday at 10 round Tuesday, after 6yrs at grey/white! In NoGi because he’s that NoGi guy lol. He’s been putting in the work this year, even though his focus is tackle football, and helps out a lot with the little kids and preparing the competitors. He actually has a blast when he grapples, so well deserved son, love you so much. taken in High Street AZ by @jayshellhammer

MACH5. Jiu-jitsu in a box, with a mission to give back.

Rigan Machado, Larry Shealy, Jay Shellhammer, and I talk about helping owners run their gyms and giving more people a chance to train.

Watch the full conversation on the Generational Growth Podcast.

Link in bio. A seven-slide Generational Growth Podcast carousel features Austin Johnson, Rigan Machado, Larry Shealy, and Jay Shellhammer discussing MACH5, jiu-jitsu in a box, and giving back to the Brazilian jiu-jitsu community. The cover retains the supplied Medals Aren't Enough episode-two thumbnail and adds a prominent MACH5 heading and mission to give more people a place to start. Navy, white, and gold slides explain the business responsibilities of running an academy. A three-row graphic presents curriculum, mentorship, and academy support, with Gi, No-Gi, Kid-Jitsu, instructor and business calls, marketing resources, and vendor programs listed on Team Rigan's website. Paired panels connect an independent school's identity and control with Team Rigan resources and owner relationships, noting membership and branding conditions. Rigan's story about an athlete unable to afford competition travel introduces goals for athlete support and children's training access. Austin describes his goal of giving a gym back. The last slide invites viewers to watch the full podcast through the link in bio. by @jayshellhammer

🥋 ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT: @emiliab_bjj

🥇🥇 2X GOLD MEDALIST | 5 MATCHES | 4 SUBMISSIONS @azbjjleague

Emilia stepped onto the mats last weekend and put on an incredible performance! She works extremely hard and helps everyone around her improve.

We’re proud to develop athletes like her, who embrace challenges, trust their training, and never back down from an opportunity to test themselves. Her willingness to step up and compete is exactly the kind of mindset we love seeing in our young athletes.

Proud to have Emilia representing the High Street Team🔥🥋 taken in High Street AZ by @jayshellhammer

A year and some change. Still, one of the greatest black belt promotions ever held. Beyond grateful for those involved and the community for showing love.

Thankful for my team, and this ongoing journey 🙏🏽

Last night was a special one at High Street.

It’s hard to believe we only opened our doors in February. In such a short time, the growth we’ve seen from these kids, both on and off the mats, has been incredible.

Their competition record speaks for itself and is a true reflection of the level of Jiu Jitsu being developed here. But what makes us most proud goes far beyond medals and wins.

We’ve built something special at High Street. The culture. The community. The way these kids support each other. And especially the parents! We are thankful to be around a group of families this supportive and committed to their kids and this team.

Professors Karla, Jay, Michaela, Josh, and Brendan are continually inspired by these young athletes and the work they put in every week.

We’re proud of how far they’ve come in such a short time…The future of High Street Jiu Jitsu is bright. taken in High Street AZ by @jayshellhammer
