I love the definition first introduced to me by @justeconomyinstitute: #financialactivism is how we shift the flow of capital and power to solve social and environmental problems.

Fundamentally I hope my work is an invitation for folks — especially those who have been historically excluded and harmed by our financial system — to practice reclaiming the tools of finance for our communities.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

More to come 💚 #reclaimwealth by @jazz_ny

😶‍🌫️Absurdly perfect fever dream in which my sisters from all parts of my life lived together in a beautiful house, took over a taco truck, indulged me in being emo outside, organized a self care day (see @nigeriaashana with 📋 ), bedazzled bookmarks, let me steal their clothes and accessories, sea lion watched, showered me in love and care and laughter, etc.

I love you dream girls @chelsea.on.ig @zoyaakh @sometimesmaya @paganiju @nigeriaashana @breatheeeestallion @myodeto_colours @lesialiao @sarahhrashid @jaimeenapolitano_ @francesca_napolitano_ taken in La Jolla, California by @jazz_ny
