POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’ve followed @indeedworks and @hillmangrad Rising Voices program for years. Feels surreal to announce that I am one of 10 filmmakers selected to be a part of season 5! ✨ Thank you @hillmangrad @indeedworks and @271films for this incredible program. And thank you to all my collaborators who helped me make 2 shorts in 1.5 years. Shorts that have grown my skills as a director, and, best of all, been able to resonate with others. So excited for this next short! See ya’ll at Tribeca in June! 🎉💕😁 taken in Downtown Los Angeles by @jazzfacekilla

SXSW!!!!! 2023 was full of extreme highs and lows but a definite high was finding out I'd be going back to @sxsw ! This time with something I directed! The NERVES I had going into this shoot but I had an absolute DREAM TEAM helping me bring this to life. @themarybonney I still remember your smiling face sitting across from me my very first day at Crypt. You are a dream! Can't wait for the next project (and the one after that and the one after that!!) @whitful my ❤️ pushing me to directing for over a decade lol. And the most talented cast + crew. Seriously. SO good! From my EXTREMELY talented DP @veronica.bouza to the most wonderful PA beallwether and everyone in between. So excited!! 🎉👏🏾🍾 by @jazzfacekilla

My face at learning my feature script, Hard Break, had been accepted into the Gotham Project Market!!

Anyone who’s been around me for more than 5 minutes has probably heard me talk about this project 😅 I love it so much. I finished the first draft of the script almost a year ago to the day. So thankful for everyone over this past year who’s read a draft, listened to a pitch, or jumped on board this crazy train to help me get this made.

See ya’ll in NY in September ✌🏾🏄🏾‍♀️🌊 by @jazzfacekilla

My first time pitching a feature to execs and in true fashion couldn’t start with just one. Had to be hundreds 😅🎉

Thank you to @sverhee @carzrugo and the entire @ridebackrise team for giving me the opportunity to pitch my coming-of-age sports movie alongside such amazing stories. I love this project ✨💕 by @jazzfacekilla
