Last week was a whirlwind, and I’m still trying to take it all in.

All my love to Carlen, for trusting me with their story and letting me experience all of this by their side. What a ride. ❤️

I met incredible people with beautiful stories that I already can’t wait to see on screen. THROUGH HER LENS created such a special space for sharing, filled with generous people, honest conversations and the kind of exchanges that stay with you. I honestly don’t have the words to explain how surreal and wonderful the whole experience was.

I’m so grateful to everyone who makes this program possible, and especially to all the women and non-binary filmmakers who shared this experience side by side. ❤️

Well I forgot to take pictures! But @tribeca @chanelofficial Through Her Lens was life changing. I met and connected deeply with so many women who are quite simply titans of film, including the 8 iconic filmmakers who are about to make your new 4 favorite shorts. Congrats to @astoldbygem @kseniya_yorsh, Cowards is going to be something really special.

Thank you @brycenorb @michelleyukiko @camomileviolet for putting together something so magical, for throwing your weight into encouraging courage and vulnerability always, and for going all in to support Grippy Socks. I needed all of the above in my life right now more than I can ever say.
