💚🍂Booked & Bound Book Club September Read 🍂💚
The Cinnamon Bun Book Store by @lauriegilmore_author

“He was summer and she was fall. He was adventure and she was comfort. But right now, on the cusp between the two seasons, in this liminal space they’d carved out for themselves, they fit just right.”

💚🍂💚🍂🤎🍂💚🍂🤎🍂💚🍂🤎🍂💚🍂

👀 Fave Moment: ‘Hazel hates sunshine. She’s like a vampire.’ ‘I am not! I just prefer to be inside. I’m an inside cat.’
💗 Tropes: Small town, fall setting, he falls first, swoony, friends to lovers
💭 Quick Thoughts: That was a sweet romance. I don’t think I’ve read one that sweet in a long time. If you like cozy romances with just enough steam to make it interesting, give it a read.

🐦‍⬛🩸🔪Bookish Besties Book Club 🔪🩸🐦‍⬛
Book of the Month (September): Tourist Season

Ok. I read this bc I loved the Ruinous Love trilogy and this didn’t disappoint. Very good read. It was a little slow to start for me but once all of the pieces started falling into place… so good I couldn’t put it down! Brynne gives us her animal cameo we have grown to look for and love… I love Morpheus! lol

Very similar to the Ruinous Love trilogy, we get murdery love interests that just fit so well together. I can’t wait to see where the next part takes us because the bomb dropped in the epilogue… woah

Second time around and still just as good as the first time!

HAPPY RELEASE DAY to @deborahgarlandauthor!!! BRATVA & BETRAYAL is out today!

"Kirill steps closer, close enough that I can feel the heat of him. “I don’t like when we fight,” he says in a low voice. “We had a terrible fight the night you left.”
“We did?” My heart aches hearing the pain in his voice.
“I didn’t want you to go to see your father, but you did anyway. Then we lost five years.”
