It was over 7 yrs ago when @archivalfeedback first met @sashawortzel and @jbennett.dp while Wortzel was artist in residence in the Everglades @airieverglades and her documentary feature RIVER OF GRASS was a dream and a sketch. And NOW its world premiering at @Truefalsefilmfest this month!! AF is so proud of Sasha and all those involved and we’re honored to have contributed to the sound and song of the doc.

From Wortzel: “After many years crafting the film with a beautiful team of artists and participants, I’m thrilled to be sharing this deeply personal love letter to the Florida Everglades and those who call them home.”

Grateful to be nominated for the Cinema Eye Honors with fellow DP @_brennanvance This was an especially unique and creative hybrid documentary challenge. I was the doc DP working in concert with the scripted DP, often sharing crew and lighting, while maintaining a practical film set and vibe. It was magically balanced between the directors @blackscrackle and @sarahenidhagey while one of which was also in front of the lens. BRILLIANT work everyone! Watch on HBO by @jbennett.dp
