KEEP GOING.

Today I gave my life to Christ after being distant from Him. I have surrendered and laid everything at the foot of the cross. I am no longer entangled by my past. I am free in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Christ is omnipresent.

Everybody wants peace in their lives, but until you recognize that peace only comes from Jesus, you will use temporary escapes to satisfy your real needs.

Christ is King.

Love you guys,
JC

KEEP GOING.

4th place is Men’s Debut
5th place in Men’s Open

What a journey this was. I learned so much about myself in every aspect of my life. The discipline required for this sport is immense. There were days when I wanted to quit, didn’t want to lift, etc. I pushed myself beyond my limits but I found that only limit in life is yourself. If you want it bad enough you will fight for it.

Special shoutout to my coach @thephen_thumar , best in the sport. Highly recommend if you ever consider doing a bodybuilding competition.

CHRIST IS KING.

All glory to God. I’m nothing without Jesus. He gives me purpose and strength.

Now time to enjoy some carbs.

Thank you all for the support and following along on this journey.

Love you guys,

KEEP GOING.

A life apart from Christ is futile.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.”

Jesus always prevails.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth give way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,”

Trust in God.

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?”

Faith.

“What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”

If it wasn’t for Jesus, I don’t know who or where I’d be.

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

I am nothing without Jesus.

Let Jesus be the center of your life.

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭ESV‬‬

It is not Christ plus my condition. It is Christ alone.

“do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Jesus didn’t just save you from something. He’s calling you into something.

“From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
