Bodybuilding is an art. Sculpting your perfect physique. Every rep. Every meal. Every pose. Every nights sleep. Every sip of drink. It is something that requires a lot of discipline and sacrifices. You cannot be weak. You cannot make excuses. You cannot outwork your diet. You are the only thing standing in the way of the best version of yourself. Nothing on instagram matters so dont compare yourself to that 20 year old kid who is turning pro, there are genetic freaks okay just have to work with what God gave you. Not everyone is ronnie coleman. No one elses opinion matters. Take me for instance, objectively I look great to mostly everyone (not on no cocky shi) but subjectively according to classic standards i could have bigger arms and legs and more size overall, but I was given a physique with good shape and able to get good conditioning rather than size. But that will come with time. Marathon, not a sprint. #gym #bodybuilding #fitness

410lbs lifetime PR 🚨- No hacks, no secret unlocks, just good ol honest hard work. This felt unreal, even though I knew we were tracking in this direction, the feeling is amazing and I’m over the moon. We’re in position to potentially chip my world record at nats which is crazy to even fathom. Gotta stay healthy, but we’re on a roll rn, 6 weeks to go.

Self image —>

Self image is something that I’ve struggle with for a good portion of my life due to bullying. It’s a struggle that I deal with everyday but recently it’s gotten a lot better. Here’s a few things I did to help combat the negative thoughts

1. Look back at old progress pictures to understand how far you’ve truly come. For me looking back at pictures allows me to to realize that I am making progress and makes it easier for me to accept my body.
2. Give yourself some leeway. You’re going to make mistakes with diet and training and overall everything in life. One bad isn’t going to de rail all of your progress.
3. Give your self breaks and time to rest because your body needs it and in order for it to be its best self it needs a break here and there.
4. Lean on friends and family and prioritize mental health more than anything.
