There’s something special about gathering together at the end of the week. 🕯️❤️

Every Friday, our staff comes together in the lobby for Shabbat, and we love when our members & guests stop by to join us in the celebration.

Last week, Josh Cutler, Executive Director of the Board of Jewish Education (BJE) of Atlantic and Cape May Counties, led us in Shabbat.

This week, we welcomed Rachel Waldman, Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Atlantic & Cape May Counties, who led our celebration.

Two Fridays, two wonderful community leaders and plenty of meaningful moments together!

🌸 A beautiful day like today had us thinking about John J. Voigt, Jr. and his flowers. 💐

John, our Director of Finance, used to bring in flower arrangements from his garden and share them with our front desk staff. It was such a simple, thoughtful gesture and those flowers always brought a little extra beauty to the Welcome Center.

So today, we’re sharing a few of our favorite arrangements from John’s garden. Just a little reminder of the beauty and kindness he brought with him. 🌷❤️

Last night was such a fun evening in the sukkah! 💙🍎

💙 Today was the first session of our new Parkinson’s Support Group, and we’re so happy to welcome this wonderful new program to the J!

Led by Jessica Soffian, MS, CCC-SLP, LSVT LOUD Certified, these sessions offer a warm, welcoming space for individuals living with Parkinson’s, their loved ones and caregivers to learn, laugh, exercise their minds and voices, and connect with others who understand the journey.
