Marlise! A new musical at the Players Theatre downtown. This was a ton of work and also a blast. We fit a giant musical into a very small venue — the result is a show that is absolutely bursting at the seams with hilarity. New friends Jesse Ayala and Justino Tesoro have created something wacky, weird, and special. Director Joe Barros is a mad genius. Big thanks to my friend Zach Pizza who helped bring me to this project, let me crash at his apartment, and helped to stuff every square inch of this little set with LED tape.

A bad student from North Dakota walks into an acting class by accident, grabs a scholarship nobody wanted, and gets "cast" as an electrician. One day backstage was all it took. Scenic designer Jack Golden on trusting his instincts, chasing the moment when a design unexpectedly sings, and why he still pinches himself in every room he never dreamed he'd be in.
