We’re up and open and I could not be here without my team. Grateful beyond words for @mary_garrigan and @remyrosesmall for running the deck and keeping me sane (and caffeinated ☕️)

Grateful to this cast for their work and their hearts. To the standbys for their preparation and joy and to the creatives for trusting me with their show. It’s been wonderful opening my second Off-Broadway show as PSM.

Powerhouse plays through October 30th at The Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at ART/NY.

Finally opening a show that started rehearsals in February 2020. Thank you @misterlarryphillips for having me again. This company has been wonderful and I’m very excited to share a legit comedy with the world. Come see Last Chance for Mama at the @chaintheatrenyc, TONIGHT through Nov 21.

We were 2 weeks from Opening Night when the pandemic hit. I’m THRILLED to announce the “Last Chance for Mama” will play the Chain Theater November 12th-21st, 2021!
The sensational team starts with Ben Liebert Directing; Lauren LeBeouf, Ursula Anderman, Matthew Shortell, and me, in the cast. And Jack Golden is our Scenic Designer, Reid Sullivan our Lightning Designer, and Vanessa Isabel Vivas our Stage Manager.
Looking forward to making Theatre again!

Well.
It’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything, so it’s probably time for a life update.
I’ve graciously been given the opportunity for what I’m now calling a “bonus semester” for my MFA here at UMD, allowing me the opportunity to teach and put up what‘s going to be a *stellar* production of ‘Little Women’. I’m very excited.
But it would also be remiss to not take the time to thank these goobers that made up my (initial) graduating class of scenic designers, who I will be missing dearly as this semester starts. They put up with a whole lot of my puns, terrible comebacks, and excessive hugs—and more importantly made me a better designer and overall human.

Thanks y’all 🖤

Farewell 2020. It was an unpredictable year, but at least I got to make some good memories. Even though I didn’t get to produce a single live production this year, I learned so much.

I bought an iPad and learned how to make digital renderings on procreate, I helped adapt a children’s book into a play, I learned how to do COVID fittings and photoshoots in masks, goggles, and gloves, I styled and dyed a ton of wigs, I learned how to use Zoom (barely), I made 45 custom bow ties, I gave a few virtual lectures, did an interview for a podcast, and I even took a scenic design class.

Outside of work, I actually got to take some time for myself to spend on hobbies: biking, cooking, landscape painting, and watching Hitchcock movies and Murder, She Wrote. I went to the beach, I attended a protest with Jane Fonda (pre-COVID), I voted for my 3rd time in a presidential election, I grew out of my old skinny jeans, I got to explore various nature parks/bike trails in Maryland, Tennessee, and Ohio, I got to watch Sophia skydive and get stung by jellyfish, and I made some new friends and caught up with some old friends online along the way. 😋
