The Micro Navel

I discovered the subtle beauty of micro navels while trying to find interesting ways to resurrect my clients’ long-forgotten navel piercings.

I would hear the same story over and over: 16 and loving it, 36 and feeling too old and not loving the reminder left behind. It kind of hit me that a piece of jewelry is better than staring at an empty hole.

To be clear, I don’t think anyone ages out of piercings, but I do believe that your jewelry should evolve with you. Although, if you hang on long enough, you will eventually be back in style. 🤪

The navel, in my opinion, is a perfect place to dress up. Similar to an earlobe, it’s just begging to be decorated. Not every navel is a candidate, which makes it feel even more special when it is. The body has a way of telling us what it wants and what it can handle.

Traditionally, I always found navel jewelry to be too clunky. With most of my work, I try to complement the body and not make the piercings look forced or the focal point. Quietly confident! ❤️‍🔥

Spring is here, summer is around the corner. Let’s either fill that empty hole or make a new one and get you adorned.

Hey guys, we made it to the end of the year. This was a long hard one, for everyone I believe. Feels surreal to be putting up dates for 2026 but here we are.

I just want to thank everyone who has been supporting this weird thing I do, new and old. I’m going into my 26th year of piercing. It’s crazy all the experiences I’ve had and people I’ve met. I feel lucky to be analog with conversations, in a digital world. I’ve been blessed with the greatest clientele, which keeps moving me forward and fulfilling me.

Make sure to sign up for my newsletter. I’m planning to push further away from social media even more than I already have. I’ve been shadow banned for years so what’s the point really. I’ll keep my blog updated with new work to inspire and obviously some rants. Also duh, new website should be up Jan 1st.

On a positive note; I’ll be back in LA in January and will be coming for a couple of weeks every other month. Looking forward to sharing some space with you west coasters. You guys doing okay?

I finally had a chance to see Yorgos Lanthimos‘s BUGONIA. What a crazy beautiful ride, I LOVED it. The score by Jerskin Fendrix was perfect! 👌🏻

I had the pleasure of working with Emma back in 2012 after she wrapped Spider-Man. I loved this scene with her piercing prominent and wanted to share with you.
